This website does not collect personal information through forms or accounts. When you shop, Shopify handles your order and payment details, and wholesale accounts are handled by Faire. We never sell your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how beabutter ("we," "us," or "our") handles personal information in connection with beabutter.com (the "Site"), our Shopify store, and our wholesale presence on Faire. We sell and ship only within the United States, and this policy is written for visitors and customers in the United States.
Information we collect
On this Site: the Site has no sign-up forms, accounts, or checkout. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and the time of your visit, to deliver and secure the Site.
When you email us: if you contact us at info@beabutter.us, we receive your email address, name, and anything you choose to include in your message.
When you shop: when you buy from our Shopify store, Shopify collects the information needed to complete your order on our behalf, such as your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, order details, and payment information. Payment card details are processed by Shopify and its payment processors. We never see or store your full card number.
Wholesale: when a retailer opens an account or places an order through Faire, Faire collects business and contact information and shares the details we need to fulfill the order, such as the business name, contact name, and shipping address.
How we use information
We use personal information to process and ship orders, provide customer service, answer your questions, fulfill wholesale orders, keep the Site and our store secure, prevent fraud, and meet our legal obligations.
If you choose to receive marketing emails, for example by opting in at checkout, we will use your email address to send them. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe.
Service providers we rely on
Shopify runs our online store, checkout, customer accounts, and order management. Its handling of your information is described in the Shopify Privacy Policy at shopify.com/legal/privacy.
Faire runs our wholesale ordering. Its handling of retailer information is described in the Faire Privacy Policy at faire.com/privacy.
We also use a web hosting provider to serve this Site, and shipping carriers to deliver orders. We share only the information each provider needs to do its job.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described here, for example to fulfill orders, handle returns, and meet tax and accounting requirements, and then we delete it or make it anonymous.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the state you live in, including California under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy of it, to correct it, to ask us to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email info@beabutter.us. We may need to confirm your identity before responding, and you may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. If you have a Shopify customer account, you can also update some of your information there.
Children
The Site and our store are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, and our Shopify checkout is encrypted. No method of transmitting or storing information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
